Italian 19th Century Venetian Tole Lantern Originally Used as a Procession Light

This beautiful Venetian lantern features hand painted tole and dates back to the 19th century. The three light Italian fixture was originally used as a procession light. Note the glass gallery at top, and the details in the acanthus leaves, foliate work, and spiraling elements assisting to hold the glass in place.
