18th Century Italian Refectory Table

18th century Italian refectory table with three baluster-shaped walnut veneer pedestals supporting the solid walnut top. It was acquired from Château de Belle Eglise, a French château built in the 12th century. As you can see in the gallery, we have a photograph of the table in its original room in the Château, sold when the building was converted into a hotel. It was made to order by an Italian cabinet maker for the Château in the 18th century, and remained in the Château until we imported the table.
